Why people switch to Money Track

  • You want to track money, not be sold loans every time you open the app.
  • Your transaction data should help you — not be used as a lending credit signal.
  • Money Track has 9 modules vs MoneyView's 2-3 tracking screens.

Our honest verdict

If you want a loan, MoneyView is purpose-built for it. If you want a calm money tracker without loan upselling, Money Track is the cleaner choice.

Frequently asked questions

Is MoneyView a tracking app or a loan app?

Both, but increasingly skewed to loans. The home screen typically leads with loan offers; tracking has become secondary. Money Track is the opposite — pure tracking, no lending.

Will MoneyView affect my credit score if I just use the tracker?

Not by itself. However MoneyView is a registered lender and analyses your transaction patterns. Money Track is not a lender and does not generate credit signals from your data.

Does MoneyView track UPI like Money Track?

Both rely on user-entered or SMS-parsed transactions. Neither directly connects to UPI infrastructure. Money Track focuses on manual entry with quick-add shortcuts; MoneyView leans on SMS parsing with the privacy trade-offs that brings.

Can I use both apps?

You can — but it duplicates effort. Money Track replaces the tracking layer entirely; users typically uninstall MoneyView once they've set up Money Track wallets.
